Wolf creek: Day 2

I definitely didn’t have the same confidence I had on day 1, partly because of the conditions.

We woke up to a blanket of white snow outside of our door. It had snowed all night and it was still coming down as we made our way to the mountain.

The drive in was pretty dicey, but we made it to the ski resort at 9am. We couldn’t see much at all. Kind of scary driving through a small pass up a mountain!

Day two was very similar to day 1 actually, besides the huge amounts of new snow and the cooler weather. It took me a while to warm up, but I eventually got used to the fluffy powder and had a pretty successful day! Ps it snowed on us all day!

We went home again and picked up the dogs for some runnin’ around.

The hot tub was definitely happening again. We drank a beer and soaked our (very sore) bones.

Later, we got ready to meet up with Scott’s parents for dinner. Funny story… they’re actually here in Pagosa Springs at the same time as us, so of course we had to squeeze in a dinner while they are here! We went to a really yummy place right in the middle of town called Alley House Grille. I had an 8 oz steak and Scott had prosciutto wrapped scallops. We might have had a little too much to drink too. I’m going to blame our alcohol intake on our very nice waiter though! He just kept coming by and filling up my glass.
