I originally got this recipe from my dear friend Ruthie, and can’t seem to stop making them! The mixture of brownie and cream cheese is just heavenly!
- 1 box brownie mix, your choice(+ ingredients on back of box.)
Cream cheese layer:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 5 tbsp butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp flour
Step 1: Grease baking dish, I used 9×13, and prepare brownie mix as directed on the back of the box. Spread half into baking dish.
Step 2: Mix cream cheese, butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs, vanilla, flour and combine all together. I used an electric mixer to do the job.
Step 3: Pour the cream cheese layer over the first half of brownie mix, then add the second half of brownie mix on top. Use a butter knife to “marble” the brownie.
Step 4: Bake on 350 for 35-40 minutes until toothpick comes out clear.
